Our little toddlers are curious cuddle bugs who love to explore their environment. As they begin to learn how to interact with others, sometimes getting into mischief, our job is to keep them safe while we help guide their curiosity (wondrous spirit).

Trusted Safety Measures Are A Top Priority

The center has a dedication to ensuring your child’s safety. Attention to cribs, mattresses, and toys, along with dedicated and incredible staff means your child is in good hands at all times.

From 12 months to 24 months a lot changes! We’re there to support your Cuddle Bug’s new found abilities such as walking, learning to talk (whether it’s babble or words!), following simple instructions, and interacting with others. Whatever stage your toddler is at, we’ve been there many times before! We can help your toddler further expand his/her developmental skills such as Language (reading/speaking), Fine Motor (use of small muscles), Gross Motor (use of bigger movements with large muscles), Social (how they communicate with others), and Emotional (expressing their emotions and relating things to themselves).

Our knowledgable staff understand the underlying developmental reasons for your child’s behaviours and probable challenges, such as his/her outburts of frustration from not being able to properly communicate or understand their overbundance of emotions; or their refusal to share with others. Do not worry, parents! This is perfectly normal and ordinary for toddlers! Knowing they are not intentionally misbehaving, but instead communicating their emotions the only way they know how, we gently guide them to learn new and better ways to interact with their world!

“Our job as a preschool is to help them in any way possible with their development.”

Your preferences are incredibly important to us, so please let us know all about your little one and we’ll do our best to cater our care to their needs.

Our center uses Preschool2Me, an app that connects parents and the childcare center by providing digital daily reports, pictures and messages. In addition, parents may phone or e-mail us at any time. Parents may also request a parent/teacher meeting. We have an open-door policy, so parents may drop in at any time, but please stop by the office so that we can make sure the visit is not disruptive to the child or the classroom.

We gladly welcome parents to join us for celebrations, birthdays and presentations. A teacher may also ask for parent volunteers to help with an activity. If you would like to participate you may always ask the administration for opportunities. All parents who volunteer in the child’s class must pass a level 2 DCF fingerprint clearance.

Infants nap every day from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.

A developmental assessment in conducted annually. In addition, formal assessments are conducted quarterly. These assessments not only help parents to understand where their child is in his or her development, but also what areas can be strengthened. These assessments guide us, as educators, in developing our curriculum so that it matches the needs of the children in the class.

To keep our children, their families and our staff healthy, we require that any child with a fever, vomiting or contagious disease be kept at home. We ask that children go fever free for 24 hours before returning to school. Students with contagious diseases must bring a clearance letter from the doctor upon their return to school.

We hope you do! We encourage you to visit while the program is in session to get the full experience. We offer individual tours during the day as well as one Open House in the beginning of the school year.
